13 Days of Horror: Alex Forrest in Fatal Attraction (1987)

Glenn Close’s Alex Forrest became an adulterer’s worst nightmare realized when Fatal Attraction went into theaters. Michael Douglas’ Dan Gallagher engages in a weekend affair with Alex Forrest, only to introduce himself to a world of hurt when she begins stalking him and his family. Glenn Close’s Alex Forrest is deranged, deluded, and mentally unstable, yet she is conniving enough get away with most of her deeds. Alex Forrest first begins with characteristics that can be attributed to someone with borderline-personality, which very rapidly escalates to insinuated threats and ultimately violence.
