2016 Winner Prediction: Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

This is a redemption year for Tituss Burgess, who was expected to win the Emmy last year, but lost to Tony Hale (who was equally deserving of the win). It does seem that this Emmy year is, again, primed to be a Burgess versus Hale battle, but with Burgess more likely to be victorious. However, it is possible they could cancel each other out to allow another winner. The nominee most likely to benefit from this is Matt Walsh, whose acting on Veep has been grossly undervalued until this Emmy year.

The Nominees:
Louie Anderson – Baskets
Andre Braugher – Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Tituss Burgess – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Ty Burrell – Modern Family
Tony Hale – Veep
Keegan-Michael Key – Key & Peele
Matt Walsh – Veep

Will Win: Tituss Burgess – Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Could Win: Tony Hale – Veep
Should Win: Burgess or Hale deserve this win
